Peter Simon Lamine

Peter Simon Lamine (28 October 1738 [baptismal date] in Mannheim; 1817 in Munich ) was a German sculptor of the late Baroque and Classicism. Lamine was a student of the sculptor Peter Anton Verschaffelt . He created, among other things unfinished sculptures at Karlstor in Heidelberg and the shepherd god Pan with pan and stick in Schwetzingen palace gardens . With the seated figure of 1815 in Schloss Nymphenburg he took a single motif from 1774 from the castle park Schwetzingen again. 1804 Lamine served as the last head of which was founded by his teacher Verschaffelt Mannheim drawing academy.
